WMUA is now accepting applications for Department Directors for the 2012-2013 academic year. WMUA is staffed by a board of 15 Department Directors; each of these Directors oversees a staff of volunteers in several aspects of the programming and financial operations of a non-commercial radio station. Positions are paid, and open to UMass Undergraduates only. Applicants may be in any major; all students are encouraged to apply, especially those with strong backgrounds in business and/or media and/or tech. Job descriptions for each position can be found here, and applications can be found here.
Applications are due April 13th by email to manager@wmua.org or at the WMUA office in the General Manager's mailbox.
Mark your calendars! Our programming will change to a more Wintery feel on December 11th (well, not really, but you'll hear some new and different programs as well as your old favorites). Make sure to stay tuned throughout the Winter season and let us know what you think!

Free concert!
When: November 29th at 7:30pm

We apologize for the inconvenience during this outage - everything is back to normal!
Thanks for bearing with us!
Happy Halloween Folks,
For those of you who were able to find some power and internet to check this page, congrats!
We will be having a General Body meeting tonight!
Campus Center, Room 101, at 7pm
This is the last meeting we have before the Fund Drive begins, so it is crucial that we still have it.
This being said, if you are far from campus and do not feel safe driving out with this way, do not feel pressured. Your Safety is our largest concern.
All student members who live on campus, you should definitely be able to make the trip. A good excuse to stretch your legs from your day off!
Come see the "avant-gutbucket" guitarist James 'Blood' Ulmer tonight at 8pm in the first of the Solos and Duos Series concerts this fall.

Blood has performed with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, Ornette Coleman, Joe Henderson, and many others. Tonight, he'll be performing his characteristic jagged guitar work in a solo show not to be missed. Also make sure to tune in to WMUA around 3pm for an interview with Blood on Thursday's R&B Revue with Katie Wright!
